As a family law solicitor from 2022 - 2025, Kane has handled increasingly complex casework with a high degree of autonomy. He has regularly appeared in the Federal Circuit and Family Court, both online and in person, effectively opposing other solicitors and barristers, or collaborating to settle matters and prepare consent orders. His work involves taking instructions from new clients, managing their matters, and building strong rapport.
Previously, Kane served as Deputy Associate to The Hon. Judge Burchardt at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, giving him an in-depth understanding of Court processes and the financial burden parties can face.
Kane holds a Juris Doctor from Monash University and completed his Practical Legal Training at the College of Law. He also earned a Bachelor of Criminology with Distinction from Deakin University. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia, holding a current Practicing Certificate.
